Kendricks Motors was at the junction of Edward Street and West End, where the new houses are. Before that it was the Fire Station where Arthur Mays worked.

JR Motor spares on the corner of Warminster Rd/Bratton Rd used to be a fruit and veg shop owned by Mr & Mrs Perry, next to that was a butchers shop(Saunders I think) which became the Rag Bag before Lions of Westbury Book shop, then next to that Raines Bakery, then further along nearer to the roundabout was another butchers Elkins, at the entrance to the Vista Cinema was a little sweet kiosk one side and the flower shop the other side, where the flower shop is now used to be western furnishers, and carpet studio was along there somewhere too where the gun shop is now i think

Thats right, Bit of a grumpy fellow if I remember right.  I remember being in there when he told some people off for reading magazines, reminding them there was a library over the road!! LOL

Where Jolly Williams is used to be Colliers hardware shop and further up towards the Champion used to be the wool shop, and didn't the old quickprint shop used to be a womans clothes shop before Perrys newsagents?
