Its less stressful - and it gives you somehting else to do (decide whether to get in or out the pool etc) when you are in labour!   If you're the bloke the humidity tends to get you pretty sweaty!!!

Not unless you really want to - once you are in you aren't much use getting towels and glasses of water and stuff - and it does get a bit messy so best not get in!!

Trowbridge gets to keep its local birthing centre, which is fantastic.

Protestors however voted in favour of saving the Towns Cricket Pitch rather than have a new Health Centre at that location.

Do you think this is a strange opinion to have?

Not really because there are existing health facilities that could be kept/upgraded and to build over the cricket ground would remove a valuable, much used sporting facility at the same time as the town's rugby club faces an uncertain future and its' football club uses a frankly poor ground.
