I've used it as a takeaway and had a sit in during the last week and I have to say that it has gone down hill.

Poor quality ingredients, poorly cooked and poor service!!


Time to find a new chinese!!!

You're right, used to be a favourite of mine too but I must admit I stopped visiting a fair while ago.   Poor quality food full which seems full of MSG and rather lacklustre service to put it mildly.

I thought it was just me, that I'd become fussy in my old age, but compared to how it used to be it's very disappointing

I'm afraid I must agree with you both, we used to enjoy our meal from there and we have found to that the quality of the food etc is certainly going down hill, when you think how long they have been in business their meals should be spot on every time, and the chips well!!!  if you are lucky you might get some nice chips but most the time they are hard and look and taste like the night befores chips,  we had some fish and chips a few weeks ago and the chips were hard, the fish was dry and was quite strong so wife said next time you go in ask for a bag of hard chips and a piece of stale fish and if they say anything say thats what we had last time!!

Great!    Got a table booked there for my father's 70th birthday on the 28th. Will report back...

Well, we went for the meal on Wednesday night and I have to say it was very very good. The food was spot on and plentiful, the service was very good - even to the point of letting my 10 year old son take our dessert orders AND serving them to us.

All in all I would give 9/10.
