I tried going in to Tesco's in Trowbridge today, what a nightmare,
you cant go down the  West Ashton Road,
so you have to Go via North Bradley, and it was traffic chaos everywhere,
How long is West Ashton staying closed, i hope not long as i wont be going to Trowbridge often until it does. Angry

It's been annoying for me with work recently too.

Maybe a few miles further, but why not go to the Steeple Ashton lights, turn left and go in via the Paxcroft Mead end
along Hilperton Road.

We went to Tesco this afternoon, the traffic was awful, going in wasnt too bad until we got the the roundabout at the bottom of County Way, but coming out of the town was dreadful.

Decided to go home a different way, via Stoney Gutter.

West Ashton Road should be open by now, originally the work was only meant to take 3 weeks, it's now been 4 weeks and no sign of it finishing.

I understand that the delay has been caused because the contractors hit unexpected boulder rocks where the new pipelines will be going, but that the road will be re-opened shortly whilst this problem is resolved. I will try to get more information and let you know!.
