I would love to answer, but certain town and unitary councillors feel that as an ex-councillor, and now merely a council tax payer, I should keep my opinions to myself!! So I will, until May 2013!

And yet other councillors like to give their opinion, and don't care who they upset when they give it.. as long as they put at the bottom that it is given as a member of the public and NOT as a councillor.. thinking that it makes a difference  |

As I have been told by Russell I am meddling for no good reason, I will keep my mouth shut........ (that's long enough). I don't think all is well at all, despite Russell telling us the Council is working better than ever. It saddens me the infighting when all we want is our Councillors to fight our corner and not worry about the next batch of election bumf. Perhaps we should have a PWF (Put Westbury First) party at the next elections.

I will put up as Westbury Comes First but will be ousted as having no training into how to conduct matters of the council, as that appears to be the criteria to suit at present#.!!! it seems you need history to get on, or indeed friends in places.(not nexuses high places!!) The general principle of the Council is to help, look to the futures and put Westbury first, this was an ideal when my father was Mayor and councillor for 30 years. All that time the debates were over, and heated ones at that, was for Westbury, and Westbury alone. Good honest men and Women, Phylis Cundick, Len Webb, Ron Candy Bill Vivash et al were there to assist, guide and deliver. I will sit patiently, without making ripples and scenes, but like the silent majority , Get on with the job.

If there is so little activity on these forums, surely by placing a post, that may appear provocative, it may at least get some interesting posts without getting too personal.
