The Warminster store used to be so handy for D.I.Y.
So I shopped in Davies on Saturday, to get emulsion paint.

Where do you buy your's from.

B&Q Trowbridge for most stuff now. Or Brewers for paint. Sometimes Wickes. I don't miss Focus.

Nearly bought some paint in B&Q a couple of weeks ago, Davies had the same paint for nearly half the price!!! Now if that's not good for local shopping I don't know what is!

I use Davies as much as possible - they have a pretty good range in there for a small shop. Other than that I have also used Timber and Allied for a couple of bits and pieces (although they're generally for trade) and then B&Q as I think it's the nearest.

Sydenhams opening hours don't really suit working people. They shut at 5pm weekdays and only open until mid day Saturday. Closed Sunday.
Davies's is ok but he's such a miserable bugger.

Jed isn't there so much, but I agree, he's a miserable bugger. Always find what I want in there, massive range and good prices. You don't have to buy 100 screws, just the number you need, and I find the staff knowledgeable and helpful.
