I'm serious.   Blue Circle/LeFarge were a major employer of the town and contributed to town causes not to mention the discovery of the Pilleasaur at the quarry.   Keep the chimney which is used by pilots as a navigational aid.  I will approach the Town Council and Heritage Soccity to try to achieve this.

I think the Lafarge Chimney is of more value to the town than the present town council!!

Flatten the monstrosity!!! Ruins a lovely part of our countryside. The horse is westburys iconic symbol. Perhaps we should change westburys signs and take off the horse and replace it with the chimney

Whilst I agree that as Lafarge appears to have finished production at Westbury, the chimney should be demolished, it must also be remembered that Lafarge (Blue Circle) did provide employment and income for the town. I don't think the White Horse (which is actually in Bratton Parish unless money is required to be spent on it, in which case they consider it to be in Westbury) has in reality actually contributed much to the town.

So, I propose - demolish the chimney and turf over the white (painted concrete) horse!
