See below for details of my student-run exhibition at the American Museum in Bath.

"A group of final year history students from Bath Spa University have worked together to bring you this exhibition. Focussing on the period around the opening of the American Museum, and looking at iconic figures and events, we bring you our own take on views of Britain and America at a time of social and cultural change"

27th May - 5th June.

And on Sunday 5th June, as well as an American Classic Car Show, we will be running a family fun day:

"Join us for a day of exciting and iconic spectacles and events which celebrate the conclusion of our exhibition. Be transported back to the 1950s and 1960s with the opportunity to take part in an authentic dance workshop accompanied by the American Museum house band. Reminisce as you enjoy iconic moments from contemporary films, before completing your flashback into the time period with a visit to the 1960s Mini Cooper parked outside the newly renovated stable block."

For more details, please visit www.americanmuseum.org or our own website, which I will post a link to, once it is up and running (hopefully in the next week!!)

This exhibition is the culmination of a years work for one of my modules at uni this year, and will contribute to my overall grade.

Hope to see some of you there!

If you would be able to display posters or leaflets for this at your place of work, please let me know!
