If anyone is thinking about going to Longleat for the day over the holidays, please be aware of the following:-

You are no longer able to pay for individual attractions, you now have to buy either a day pass ticket £26.50 per adult & £18.50 per child, a passport ticket £28.50 per adult & £21.00 per child or an annual ticket which for a family of four will cost £222.50

We went there yesterday, amongst alot of unhappy families, the Longleat staff themselves admitted that they had been inundated with complaints and had complaint forms on hand.

Having been to Longleat many times, we don't want to necessarily go on all the attractions, but merely want to let our boys use the adventure play ground, needless to say, we had two very upset children yesterday   Sad

Thats a real shame we like to get our passport tickets and then go back later in the year and go on one or two rides.  We shall not bother, there is no way we can afford that, wonder if its because Lord Bath has handed the reigns to his son that this has happened?  The kids only like the boat and the railway, we dont do anything else there, so it would be a waste of money if we cant just do the couple of things we want to do.

Lucy's sister works there and we have heard all sorts about the new management structure and new ways of doing things!

And not much of it is positive!!!

Well as long as they continue with these extortionate prices, me and mrs spanner will not be visiting again, unless a win on the lottery prevails Tongue

Wonder what there takings were this Easter?  Roll Eyes
