Parents Who Can't or Won't Take Responsibility

Young lad nicked last night for an allegation of shoplifting. Due to his age his mother was contacted and asked to attend the police station to act as his appropriate adult (I love the term appropriate as in most cases the parents are far from appropriate).

The mother said she wouldn't come to the police station as she was fed up with attending because the police and social services are doing nothing to bring up her lad!!!  You couldn't make it up.

Sound like one of those who only want kids for the family allowance and other benefits they bring (financial)!

Become obese,neglect one`s duty as a parent,drink /take drugs, abuse everybody as much as they like and then blame it on everything but themselves,then get away with it because of thier substance abuse.A real f~@~@~ up society I'm afraid.

this is my first post to this forum, but i have read the posts most days for a couple of years and to date nobody has ever wee weeed me off! until now -come on Karma that comment is offensive, I was Hit off my motorcycle in June and I am now disabled and because I get no exercise I'm getting fat! I suppose if you saw me on my crutches hobbling past the chippy to get to the chemist I would be a "glutinous,greedy slobs who are on disability benefit "
All I can say to you on behalf of genuine disabled people is " F*** YOU"

Hold on i think this post is offensive TOO ME!!When in my post was i obusive tO any individual!BUT YOU ARE!
I am very sorry for what happened to you,and i would NEVER EVER be offensive to anybody that is genuine disability..NEVER...
My post is about those people who have never worked or dont want to work anymore,sit around all day,put on enormous weight,then claim disability because of it..
For what has happened to you i think is terrible and cannot think of what you have been through,but is not people in your situation i was getting at..

OK hissy fit over,  But it does seem that anybody how gets DLA or disability benefit nowadays is up for getting grief due to a very small minority of peps who work the social system.

I didn`t think their was a legal age for a youngster to look after a younger sibling?
It does make you think though why didn`t see take the younger one with her even if it was only for a short period.

Wasn't there a case of two 14/15 year olds who became parents, what happens in this case do the authorities remove the baby because the parents are too Young to Care for it?
