Just come past McDonalds in Trowbridge and I see that the old carpet place is now a new Comet store

Good to see it is going to be used again, and when the Matalan opens in the old Focus store, nearly all the shops will be full again.

i think you`ll find comet and currys are one and the same company, i bought a tv online from comet 3 years ago it was delivered by currys it went wrong in 8 months emailed comet  and currys came and delivered a new one and took the duff one, the driver said they were the same company.

Um no and no. They are completely different companies. Comet is part of the Kesa group. Currys is part of DSG (think that's what they're called) which comprises Currys, PCWorld and Dixons that I can think of. I would have thought Currys will be monitoring the new store and Comet could give them a run for their money as they hold a lot more stock that can be collected immediately unlike Currys who have to deliver anything larger than a tv and charge you the privilege of doing this.

having just got home after driving my Comet truck, I can catergorically state that currys are nothing to do with Comet and that the stack in for this store is scheduled in the very near future and should be opening soon after.
