This evening I went and saw my brother.. No big deal I here you say, but I'd not seen or heard from him for 17 years. It was bloody good to see him again. Might not seem that interesting to most of you but it was good for me Smiley

That is really cool!, awful when you lose contact with close friends let alone Family. Often you always plan to contact someone and never get round to it and then regret it much later down the line. Years of regret just for not picking up the phone. Reminds me to call a few people tomorrow thanks.   Smiley

Excellent news for you Bazza.

I hadn't seen my Mum for 21 years and when we met up she was a hard-line member of the Jehovah's Witness lot.
I didn't talk to my Sister for 7 years and when I finally did she told me my Dad (who I hadn't talked to for 10 years) had died 3 years previously.

Thanks Rock Chick. 17 years is a long time and no doubt a lot has happened to us both over that time, something we'll talk about no doubt. It also brings things a little more into perspective in as much as family are important, you can't replace them. I feel like I'm still smiling inside Smiley

Pleased for you Baz.

I also have brothers and sisters (3 of each). Only two sisters bother to keep in touch!
