My daughter, who is eight, has said this morning that she would like to do a sponsored silence in order to raise money for Connors Dream Appeal. I have contacted the charity organiser this morning, and will ask at her Primary School if she is allowed to do the event there. I am pretty sure they will support this.
I will get Sponsor forms made up.
Our family are thinking of other ways to raise money. My girls do not realise that Connor is in such a critical stage of illness, but they have a friend who is in remission from Leukemia, so they understand to a degree.
I am proud of little Cerys for being so motivated to help.

Thanks. It would probably complicate matters too much then as it would AIUI mean registering as a charity. Shame as it makes donations worth over a quarter more. |

I am going to ask Mike If we can put a little tin for Cerys in his Shop, so she can hopefully raise more cash for Connor, she has around 100 pounds in the making at the moment.

My printers are both down.
Is there anyone who would be willing, if it is possible, to print out the article from the Wiltshire Times, and maybe print the picture of the Connors Dream Appeal image???
I could then stick that image onto the tin for collection................

Ah thanks Judy, think I have done my bit now in terms of collecting for the silence, so not really in need of the tin but thanks anyway.
Still need help in other ways, ie the calendar etc.
Both girls now being silent this morning, this will be much more of a challenge for the youngest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is very chatty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
