Not got too much time to write as about to do a massage, but I am wondering what your views are on the title of this thread.
It seems daft to me to have three forums in one lil ol Town.
I have to say my heart is really not in this anymore.
Too much bickering over the years.
I am a busy lady these days with various things on and I do not have such time to invest into the site.
I know Mike has paid for it for three years, and I appreciate that, but at the time there was no third forum.
What do you think?

You have enough moderators to keep the site going with minimal time investment.
There is a good record of the recent history of the town on here which would be a shame to lose.
I see the purpose of Al's forum as they had nowhere else to go. I didn't and don't understand the need for Mikes forum as the more forums there are the poorer in quality they become and especially as he is this forums backer as it were.
Mike and I don't always bicker in fact we were messaging each other in agreement over his housing campaign last night and I was pestering him to vote on the broadband campaign.
I haven't seen too much other bickering, that reminds me has anyone heard from Yokel?. Is he back here under a different name?.

I have communicated with Yokel. I will continue to keep in touch with him.
I agree re, the Admin being able to invest time etc, but for me, this place lost its sparkle along time ago.
I did use to be slightly addicted to all what went on here, and would be on daily, hourly, ridiculously!!!
But now my time is divided into more healthy projects, my work, assisting in my girls School, etc.
I have less time.
I still think some people think I have all the time in the world to moderate, control posts, be in the know about who said what to whom etc
Anyway, must dash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to let Baldy know, as he is following this. Bazza and I are very good friends, and communicate very well on and off this forum. I am going to chat to him tonight. I have also had an offer from Mike about merging with his Forum. I will also talk to Bazza about that tonight  |

I feel I must clarify something.
This is a thought of mine.
To possibly bring this Forum to a close.
I fail to see the point in three of them running.
I genuinely wish the other two forums well.
I am just asking for thoughts on the issue.
I am not commiting to anything, merely thinking it through and gauging opinions.

Is the question directed at me Badger?. I think it is better redirected at you. Why when there were already two moderately successful forums for the town of Westbury, did you feel a pressing need to weaken them by setting up a third?. Particularly when you rejoined this forum only a short time later. The meaning of life is 42 isn't it King Smurf?  |

I think this is the best forum in terms of its layout, and easy to find sections in where to post a subject, and would be sad to see it go, but the reality is the members it has lost for various reasons has now weakened its input and content. So i think the best thing is for a merger to happen, but would prefer it to have a mixture of the layouts of both forums. |
