If it is not allowing on another computer then is the infected computer still connected to the internet?.

It could be slowing the connection down.

yes maxi avast is free i have it on my com. also mcfee is another free trial one you can keep downloading free trail ones why pay

Doug successfully removed the virus whilst I was at College last night, can now access emails and FB.

Must go as am working at School this am but thanks to all for your suggestions.

Well, I won't, but I will be back in cyber land later whilst awaiting Plumber.

(what is it about me, rented houses and boilers?!!!! Always a nightmare)
