I think there is far more to this life than what we will ever understand.
I am a firm believer in the after life.
I believe in spirits and in people being able to talk to them.
Not so convinced re aliens............

So, this is where people confuse me. Not as a criticism, but I willtake CC as an example.
CC believes in spirits and being able to talk to them, however she is not so convinced regarding aliens.
Considering that there are an infinite number of planets in the whole system there is, by definition, definitely what we would call "Intelligent life" on other planets. Heck, they may even look down on us and consider us amoebic in terms of our development. On top of this we have managed space travel - and we have only really been doing that for 50 years - just consider what another 500 years of research could deliver.
On the other side of it, there are arguements that we are not "intelligent life" at all - just a highly developed form of conditioning. Considering how many of our reactions are pavlovian I could see a point in this. Believing in spirits and the afterlife requires far more blind faith than the possibility of aliens visiting us.
Personally,I doubt lights in the sky are aliens - why would they bother with lights?
I had a friend who swore blind there wasn't a god - and he claimed himself atheist rather than agnostic - but that didnt stop him going to have his crystals read in Glastonbury. Ok, we were young then, but look at the poop so many people believe (homeopathy? I mean, come on) then they refuse to admit the possibility there may be one being - lets call it a God - responsible for all of it.

Ah but, the reason I am not ''as convinced'' by aliens is because I personally have no experience of them existing (please don't ever let that change!!!!)
Whereas I have had things occur that have instilled my belief that there may well be life after death.
I am pretty open to most suggestions.
One thing I do feel cynical about is ''Crystal therapy'' but thats not to say I dismiss it or ridicule it.
