Can these, eg, AAA's be recyled at a normal recycling centre, have just been given a stack of them by my dear son.  Seems a shame to throw them.

Tesco Express at Westbury Leigh, recycles batteries, perhaps your nearest Tesco's does the same. Thumb up!
