Princess Elizabeth skirts Westbury - Thursday 10th June

Late notice but path only just announced

LMS Princess Class 8P 4-6-2 no 46201 Princess Elizabeth is on a London to Bath and Bristol steam excursion on Thursday 10th and will use the northern avoiding line to get from Newbury to Bath at lunchtime. Unfortunately it returns via Chippenham. It wont pass through Westbury Station so its the cement works social club entrance in coach lane for a view.

Princess Elizabeth checked slightly by the signals for the northern part of the Westbury triangle under the White Horse. We all took pictures of them, and the passengers all took pictures of the White Horse. Magnificent sight and sounds as it got away again!
