Breaking News.
WOW, some scientist says something scientific about our existence and about holograms.
(I'll be jiggered if I can understand how it works)

This idea has been around for ages, I remember discussing it at a talk in Glastonbury and reading Michael Talbot's The Holographic Universe and being fascinated by String Theory some years ago.

It still sounds fascinating as a theory, and Wikipedia has a really good article on it, though I recommend Talbots book and anythng by Michio Kaku.
