Because I'm still recovering, some nights are difficult to sleep. I listened to this fascinating radio programme last night about, whether you agree with him or not, which was absolutely fascinating. He started his life pronounced a dunce at school and sleeping in the rough in a park, but by sheer willpower became a billlionaire. His views on food and its role in thinking and living a healthy old age would be hard to follow but certainly seem to work for him.

In Global Business this week Peter Day meets American billionaire David H Murdock, Chairman of Dole Foods, famous for its’ pineapples and other fruits. David Murdock talks to Peter Day about his rise from high school drop out to becoming the owner of Dole Foods, his evangelical attitude towards eating healthily and his mission to stay young for as long as he can through research carried out at his Longevity Institute in California.
