Does this sound like a handyman to you?

Multi Trade Operative

We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified and committed building operative to join our housing management team. Your duties will include day-to-day repair, maintenance and emergency work to our tenanted properties.

A multi trade background would be an advantage, as the posts involve a broad range of minor building works, including domestic plumbing and carpentry. The successful applicant will need to show they can work well with other team members, demonstrate flexibility by multi-skilling and have experience of working in occupied domestic properties.

If this amuses you, there are some good ones here. Wiltshire Council take note!

Another way for a Government (Local Government) to save money. Get rid of the people who have nothing better to do than come up with these fancy job titles.

PS: If I could get another job, I wouldn't care a toss for a fancy job title. Just the money to pay the bills!!
