I have registered my CV with online companies, I have emailed people about 'care' posts, but my gripe is that you do not hear back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   So you sit, waiting...........................waiting.....................no response.

I much preferred the olden days of going into job centre, see a job vaancy post, ring up, get interview, await response.

All this online job application stuff makes my mind boggle.

CC,

My experience with agencies is that they want your details to build up their databases. Contact you eventually if a vacancy comes up, arrange an interview for you, and then if you did not get the position, just ignore you. They more often do not even have the decency to let you know.

I would far rather answer an advert from the employer direct.

I have used Total Jobs before. They came up with some good opportunities for me.

Really, ok will take a look Alg.

Mike I stumbled upon the sites by chance really, when wanting to look at more details on job adverts it then takes you to a site where you have to upload your CV first.

I did not even have an online CV, it is written and typed, LOL

I am behind with the times  Undecided
