Although I never knew them personally, I did do some design work for them with regards the large extension they built for Sam last year.

Very sad news indeed, may they all rest in peace.

This is really tragic news. I understand the boy was a pupil at Westbury Leigh Primary School.

My sincere condolences to their families, friends and carers at this very sad time.

Look up, you never know what you may see.

It really is tragic, my Mum works with a close friend of the family & the impact is widespread : I recall a few children at the Friday Club chatting about the boy when a chair he used was left in the school hall.

My god, how horrendous, what a devastating and tragic story.

My thoughts are with all those left behind who were connected with this family.

And may the child and his parents forever rest in peace x

Realised after posting in this yesterday that this was the little boy my friend used to care for in an educational environment.    Still keep thinking about this poor family and their suffering. Sad

I'll echo what Mike said.

However, to be honest, given that I didnt even know these people existed before the sad events of the weekend,  it's not something I would feel mourning for or let play on my mind; It sounds like these people were fantastic parents and gave everything they could for their child, even to the point they ultimately gave themselves.  As a statement of love, that so much love can exist in this world we live in, is overwhelming and in some way something to be celebrated, not mourned. If that makes any sense.

I totally agree. What we have sadly seen here is the total love that the parents have given to this child - a love that could not end when he passed away four days before. They obviously had enough faith to believe that if they died at the same time as their son, they would all be reunited. I pray that they were right.

Yes it does make perfect sense.
