Sorry to see that All Instruments are up for sale.

I've only been there a couple of times but they had a good range.

I always found most of their guitars were well over priced. I think they have another outlet in Frome, but I agree it's sad to see another business go. They were handy for strings / accessories etc

I agree with you there Soup, the selection of bass guitars they had was rather small and ridiculously overpriced and they were not willing to order in a BC Rich bass for me about a year ago, even with deposit. I believe the shop in Frome has closed, at least, I pass an empty building with their details on my way to work. Of course they may have moved premises within Frome.
I was planning on taking my bass up there for restringing on Saturday!

Wouldn't know where to suggest now Rowan, I guess Sounds of Frome or what was Stag in Trowvegas? Looks like there's a niche in Westbury if someone can pitch it right...(if you're reading this and want me to work in your shop, give me a call!)   Grin

Nelsons is closest but we prefer Dilton chippy.  Never used Chequers.

I thought Nelson's were meant to be re-opening? That's what the sign on the door says.

Visited this thriving business today out of intrigue, was impressed by their variety of instruments, how friendly the staff were and how attentive also.

Great business. applause

Thriving maybe, but sadly unable to string a guitar up before 2.30pm. Ah well, I'll get it back tomorrow. Smiley

Well again - not the best shop experience, but as it's the only shop around I guess it will have to do. Been there a few times - as I said before, I think they're overpriced. One of the guys didn't know what a cello was, and it seemed to be quite difficult for them to track down my guitar yesterday. Maybe I'm just continually catching them on bad days  Roll Eyes

Anyhow, guitar now back and playable. Woohoo.
