The photographs on the Wiltshire Times website look horrific.

Irrespective of the cause of the accident, my condolences must go to the family and friends of this young man. May God grant them some peace over the next few months.

I believe we must also be grateful that the driver of the tractor unit suffered only minor injuries and wish him a full and speedy recovery.

He was from Dilton Marsh, and was a friend of mine, this is terrible news and he will be missed by all who knew him.
