 Well G'day from the land of Oz. I have finally arrived. I wouldn't worry about the cold too much, living in Victoria it's chilly enough here, so I am used to the cooler weather (in fact, we sometimes have four seasons in one in Melbourne, unlike my Queensland friends that I visit occasionally when I go up to Hervey Bay, where they only have either warm, or hot and humid weather to contend with
Am looking forward to getting acquainted with this forum, and there looks to be some interesting topics.

Well hello there Geelong girl, nice area there, last time I visited many many years ago.
I live on the other side of Port Phillip Bay to you, in them thar hills....the ones that were scorched during the black Saturday fires back in February  That was a very tense time, as the fires were surrounding the group of townships I live in.
Wanted to say a big appreciative thank you on behalf of the families that had lost everything, to Cuthbert-Murray and this forum, for the wonderful and generous donation. How lovely it is to know that people from across the miles can reach out and touch people in some way, and every bit truly helps.
The weather here in Melbourne at present is cloudy, a bit damp from some rains we had yersterday, but generally mild. At least the sun is shining at this moment as I write on a Tuesday afternoon.
