My friend wants to know if there are any tried and tested and successful snoring remedies out there before she batters her husband around the head out of sheer frustration and sleep deprivation.
They have tried a spray? but to no joy did it give a restful nights sleep, LOL

father in law used to snore a lot then changed his car (from a big 4wd to a big saloon) and it stopped. When he did a trial with the car it stopped and then restarted when the trial ended - there is a definite causal link there. Maybe there's a benefit in changing the way he sits in the evening (eg watching telly).

Yes, we noticed a massive improvement since hubby stopped smoking, after a couple of weeks I had a decent nights sleep, before that he would snore nearly all night and I would hardly sleep.

The friends husband got some pills yesterday. To help stop smoking I mean, not snoring, LOL On reading the side effects list, which include a potential effect for basically every part of the body, he decided against taking them.
The spray is apparently rubbish.

I know it doesn't work for everyone and i thought i would never be able to give it up but i found the the patches and the gum worked for me and i never once thought about lighting up a cig while i was on them i used to stand in the garden when i felt like a smoke.
But one must have will power and it's saved us lots of money plus my health has improved.

Can be expensive but you can get the supermarket's brand which is cheaper and you must think yes it can be expensive but the money you save in the long term and your health must be worth it.
But if your not ready yourself to give it up then it can be expensive if your heart and will power is not really into giving it up.

Thats it, Champix. Horrendous list of potential side effects inc pychosis, and feelings of suicide. So your chances of lung cancer are reduced but potentially you could throw yourself in front of a bus. Well done Rock Chick and Jim tho for being successful in your mission. I gave up the day after I found out I was expecting Morgan, but still struggled with cravings for many months after. My friend still jokingly tries to get me to puff on one now, but I am not interested these days.
