Advice... but 1st a moan...

Hello all, 
I'm happy to say this is my first post on the forum, but sadly, it's not a very good start, especially to start with a moan.  The advice I will ask later....
The co-op has had a great face lift over the last few months and really looks good.  Despite god knows how much money was spent on the place to improve the shop, sadly, the old problems still remain if your a local resident adjacent to co-op.  My moan is about the kids who persistently play football within the top area of the car park.     When I use the term kids, I should probably say teenagers or even a few years older !!  They turn up usually in cars or on ped motorscooters.  It would have also been a consideration of co-op to erect some new signs suggesting the prohibition of ball games in the car park.. (maybe) ...     So....
What do I do about it, Who do I speak to, with the lighter evenings I feel this problem is only going to get worse, the area where trees and bushes are planted have now become... you guessed it... their toilet area...AAHHHH    Any offers of advice (apart from moving)

yes freddieb, i now what you mean, i mentioned upon this several weeks ago on the forum, when on Saturdays i quite frequently saw kids playing footie in the carpark, seeing them, cringe when the ball passes under or over passing customers vehicles.
Cannot quite get my head around why the Coop management openly allow this on there property.

considering the behaviour of these youths tends to be in groups, you could understand that a single or loan manager would probably feel quite intimidiated in confronting them.  However, as a company, the co-op apears to ignore it, which means us as residents, are the ones who suffer..  Following advice from jayday, will contact PC Nick Holt and also write a letter to co-op and see will happens..

When I worked in the butchery dept of a supermarket the butchers were always called down to deal with problems. The site of three blokes in bloodied overalls carrying meat cleavers normally did the trick

I think the problem with coop should be sorted out by the coop - theres NPT resource there but ultimately it's the coops land - I wouldnt let kids run about in my back garden wee weeing in the hedges.

Me & Mrs B have written to the Co-op and also forwarded a copy to Nick Holt.
The latest is....there is a new manager at the Co-op who Nick says is very helpful. New keys for the security bollards will be available shortly to enable them to be used after closing. So hopefully no more noise etc after 10pm. Which is good news but doesn't help with the noise etc before 10pm. Hopefuly when the new manager reads our letter (!) he may be more aware of the problems we are facing and act more swiftly than previous management.
Nick has also advised that we try & make note of number plates etc of persistent offenders using the car park for anti social behaviour and take pictures if possible. Perhaps anyone else in the vacinity of the Co-op also suffering can do the same?
We'll see what happens over the next few weeks......

Latest update....
We have received a reply to our letter from David Parker, Chief Officer for the South West / Wales & borders. He wasn't aware of the severity of the problems surrounding the Co-op car park. However, it seems there is some positive action being taken.
They are obtaining keys for the store refuse bins to stop people going through the bins after the store has closed. 
They have ordered 3 external security cameras for installation around the car park which means they can keep police informed of any problems and provide evidence if necessary 
The security bollards are now fully operational.

David Parker has also assured us that the Co-op wants to work with the community to resolve the anti social behaviour and has asked for comments and observations.
The Co-op area Operations Manager will be monitoring improvements and will be willing to meet with local residents if we continue to have problems.

Thank you to the Co-op for acting on our complaint and our issues  - must admit its been a lot quieter in the car park this week. Hopefully others who are local to the Co-op have also noticed the difference?
