CC, I dont honestly think at their age they were having a "serious relationship" but they probably thought they were.  WHen you are a kid all relationships are serious, as they are when you are a grown up - everything is about your start point.  The only point where relationships arent serious is a) when you are a student, and/or b) when it's buddyfbonking.  I hope that Mia considers her relationships to be serious - then she will feel the pain of breakup, the joy of love, the fear of responsibility, and learn what a hard world it is out there - its all education that will make her wiser when she finally finds the right person.

Yes, I know its sad, and not good, and all that but this story is completely the exception.   The papers would have you believe theres a massive breakdown in our society and everythings terrible but the truth is he's a kid and so was she, they played around, some stuff got spilled and the consequences are there to be seen.

When all is said and done I am surprised it doesnt happen more often.

For this kind of knee jerk reaction over something really rather irrelevant see also;

You have to question why the parents would allow the jumper to even be made, or worn.

I think we are beginning to get a clearer picture of the family and the childs background as the days go by.

I agree, we should be as outraged about the girls actions too, both have broken the law, both have commited an offense, yet everything seems centred on the little boy because of his age.
I think it is simply because of his appearance that society is so shocked.
