I'm attracted to positive news at the moment as we start a new, probably difficult, year.
Would this work in Westbury ?

A trusting shopkeeper was so determined not to shut up shop when he took time off on Boxing Day that he left it completely open - with no staff in it.

Tom Algie set up an honesty box with a note urging shoppers to buy what they wanted but asked them to leave their money behind.

But amazingly instead of losing money and goods to thieves, he found customers had left £187 in the box.

That sure makes for a refreshing change.

One wonders though if he made a habit out of doing this whether he would soon be making a loss.

I love to see people selling fruit or plants outside their house, and doing the same, just leaving a box out for the money or asking for it to be posted thru the door.
