Ok, I am sat talking to Andy and Steve, and we were discussing how we all used to play the game where you knock on someone's door and run off.  Childish yes, annoying yes, but it gave us a cheap thrill in days gone by.

For Andy it was known as '' Knock Knock Ginger''

I called it '' Postmans Knock''

Steve called it, '' Cherry Knocking''

Funny how we are all relatively the same age, and each called it different.

Just for a  completely useless topic of conversation I thought I would find out what other names this game was called.

Remember playing it all along West End.

Also, for some reason, my mate Rachel and I would go to the shops and pretend we were American, putting on this dire accent.

Not sure why as everyone knew everyone then and we clearly lived just down the road, haahaha

Knock door run.

To add a bit of spice to the game you could put a dog turd on the porch and cover it in paper, set light to the paper before you ring the door and watch as the householder tried to stamp the fire out!
