Marks & Spencer is to launch a surprise 'guerilla' sale tomorrow, with 20 per cent off prices across the store triggering a bloody Christmas trade war.

The move is seen as direct retaliation by the retail chain for a three-day sale starting across Debenhams outlets tomorrow, which is cutting prices and opening.

Anyone need to buy any socks for Christmas!
