What do you think it takes to be an assertive person? Are you assertive without being aggressive?
I ask because this week I am starting an assertiveness course, have no idea what it entails, but have wanted to do one for ages.
Will let you know any tips I learn.

You know that you're more assertive than you used to be and well done for that, hopefully you'll realise that as well as something new by being at the course.

2 quotes by me.... - Nature is wonderful, you just need the time to stop, look and listen. - Look up, you never know what you may see.

Very interesting day course today, the first of a few. Just learned the basics of what Assertiveness is, how you can be passive assertive and aggressive assertive, body language, the physiological effects of, the long term affects of, where our behaviour is learned from, etc etc.
Good start to the course.

I think being assertive is something that also possibly comes with age.
