I have it on good authority that the old Touchwood shop at the top of Haynes Road is going to be a tea room called "Teaspoons" opening in a couple of weeks time.  I wish them the best of luck - very brave starting a new venture in this current climate in my opinion.

Well yes and no - very visible on coming up Haynes Road then you could either turn left and park in Coopers or turn right and park in the free bit of the Warminster Rd car park - plenty of time to have a cup of tea and a piece of cake in two hours!

It's got to be better than another takeaway, charity shop or estate agents!
Would be nice to see something different.

I wish them the best of luck, my only hope is that we the people of Westbury support it. I'm sure that it will do well, maybe we could wear our Westbury Town Forum Badges and meet other members over a cup of tea and a slice of cake. Wink

I read somewhere that tea is becoming more popular than coffee at the moment as it's a touch cheaper, so could be a great time to open a tea room...

I'd like a nice pub in Westbury, I find the standard of the pubs in Westbury disappointing - put it like this, if we have visitors the pubs of Westbury are not places we would take them.

It's something that's been missing since Bushbaby & I closed down : competition for The Cabin and Deans.

Has the Bell got its own brewery?    I could do with some live beer yeast!
