I think the Forum seems to go in fits and starts, whenever there is anything of significance to say it usually attracts comments/discussions, etc, so like Bazza said, I think it is just a case of not much going on locally.

Maybe I should work harder at advertising it, but to be honest, I do not have the inclination at the moment, and I think it seems to be ticking along ok, despite fewer postings.........

Let us bide our time and see if things pick up.

Glad to have been of use Morri.  Thumb up!

to be honest ive looked lately and there is not a lot what makes me want to comment on as there is nothing going on round town at the moment, the other forumis the same and seems very quiet at present too, another forum i go on localy is extremley quiet aswell so its not a issue effecting this one its every where the town is quiet the local businesses are quiet too, only on friday night i popped in a local supermarket
and i was the only one in there apart from the staff . and they packed my bags for me lol which was nice of them

or perhaps if the 'Official' Westbury Town Forum actually talked about Westbury more and went off topic less. When I talk to people at the meetings I go too and ask them why they don't use the forum they nearly all say because it has become like a Facebook group with little about the issues facing the town and villages and more about people discussing their holidays etc. Think of what someone finding this on Google and interested in Westbury (which is a fascinating place with a lot happening) would find of interest - not much I suspect.

So how would you suggest this issue was tackled.  I am genuinly up for improvement, but cannot do it alone, we collectively use the forum, so it does not have to be down to one or two people keeping it interesting but anyone who feels they could have some input, and if the people joined who you referred to, they could help by stating on here what they would like to see.
