I'm getting fed up with forking out each month for Sky tv.. it's becoming more difficult to find anything decent to watch!
I'm not into sports so I don't have the sports channels, films send me to sleep.. that leaves normal programmes..
Is it me or do you feel the same?

I love Sky, but then again I'm a film freak, I can always find something to watch when the kids are in bed. I don't watch much tv in the day, but if I do , again, it will usually be a film.

I got freeview already on my tv, a freeview box in the bedroom, I can watch freeview on my computer and yet I still pay for Sky..
I've also a wife and son who are happy with Sky so I don't really stand a chance do I  Sad

we have virgin and there is a lot more choice with everything , you have catchup on demand tv , tv on demand with thousands of different programmes and films at your choice also the main tv , cable and satelite programes, the only thing they dont have is the sky channels , but they only put adverts on every five minutes.

virgin at the moment are doing a package for tv, landline and broadbant for £16.00 per month

We got rid of Sky well over a year ago, mostly to get rid of those mind-numbing kids channels, there's only so much Cartoon Network you can put up with. We have Freeview but still find it difficult to find something decent to watch, and find myself watching mostly BBC. Am thinking of getting FreeSat early next year, but will have to wait and see.

HORROR  Shocked  BOO  Cheesy ! LOL.

We have SKY mainly for the sport, but I do enjoy watching nature/weather/mystery documentaries when possible.

Oh I LOVE the documentary programmes, not too keen on the wildlife ones, nature can be too cruel for me to watch sometimes so it depends what they are about.

I have been known to look at the crime channel of an evening too.

All in all between us all we have a very diverse collection of fave channels.

if you take out all the old BBC programmes all you are left with is ropey game shows, crap reality shows, and soft porn.

First I've heard of this.....  Huh

Since we got rid of Sky, the kids have stopped asking for expensive, heavily advertised, christmas
presents that they wouldn't play with if they had them.
