Its nearly Christmas!  Cheesy
This year to help the troop raise funds for their 2010 expedition we will be operating a Scout Christmas Postal Service.
Under 1981 legislation Westbury Scouts as a registered charity can operate a Christmas post service between 25 November and 1st January.  In order that the scouts and long suffering leaders can get a break our service will operate between 25 Nov and 19 Dec and cover the parish of Westbury, its just local really.
Each card will cost 20p to deliver or 5 for £1. We wont be competing with the Royal Mail as we not providing a universal service with daily deliveries.

We have two requests, the first is please use our service once its up and running and secondly an appeal to local business:
We know that the run up to Christmas is your busiest time and so if we approach you to host a post box please treat our request sympathetically.

Many thanks

Just a reminder about this local service as you are all (no doubt) starting your cards......

Postboxes are available at Coopers, Davies, Co-op and the library or the Scout Hut on a Monday, Tuesday or Friday evening.

20p per card.

Deliveries will be made over the weekends of 13/14th December and 20th/21st December.
